การตั้งค่า Storage Pool และ Virtual IP Pool

บทความนี้อธิบายขั้นตอนการสร้าง Storage Pool และกำหนดค่า Virtual IP Pool บน Sangfor aStor ซึ่งเป็นขั้นตอนสำคัญหลังจากสร้าง cluster เรียบร้อยแล้ว โดย Storage Pool แบ่งเป็น Block Storage Pool และ File/Object Storage Pool

ข้อมูลสำคัญเกี่ยวกับ Storage Pool

- แต่ละ cluster สามารถสร้างได้ 1 Block Storage Pool และ 1 File/Object Storage Pool เท่านั้น

- Cluster ที่มี 3 node ขึ้นไปจึงสามารถ deploy storage pool แบบ Mass Storage Edition ได้

- ขนาดของ cache disk และ data disk ทุกตัวในการสร้าง pool ต้องเท่ากัน

การสร้าง File/Object Storage Pool

1. ไปที่ Storage Pool > File/Object Storage Pool > คลิก Create

2. เลือก Storage Edition (Mass Storage, Balanced, High Performance)

3. เลือก Erasure Coding (EC) Policy หรือ Replication Policy

4. เลือก Node และ Disk ที่จะใช้งาน

5. กำหนดค่า Cache Disk (SSD) สำหรับเร่งประสิทธิภาพ

6. คลิก Create เพื่อสร้าง pool

การกำหนดค่า Virtual IP Pool

1. ไปที่ Cluster Management > Network Management > Load Balancing > Virtual IP Pool

2. คลิก Add เพื่อเพิ่ม Virtual IP Pool

3. กำหนด IP range สำหรับ client เข้าถึง storage service

4. จำนวน Virtual IP ต้องมากกว่าหรือเท่ากับจำนวน node ใน cluster

5. เลือก Network Interface สำหรับ Virtual IP

Load Balancing Configuration

สามารถกำหนดค่า Load Balancing เพื่อกระจาย traffic ไปยัง node ต่างๆ อย่างสม่ำเสมอ ทำให้การเข้าถึง storage มีประสิทธิภาพและ availability สูงขึ้น

หมายเหตุ

- หาก EC Policy ที่เลือกเป็น 4+2 ต้องมีอย่างน้อย 3 node

- Virtual IP Pool ใช้สำหรับ client access เท่านั้น ไม่ใช่ management access

- สามารถกำหนด Multiple Gateways สำหรับ network ที่ซับซ้อนได้
