การเตรียม Source VM สำหรับ Backup Migration

บทนำ

ก่อนทำ Backup Migration ต้องติดตั้ง SCMT Agent บน Source VM เพื่อให้ SCMT สามารถ backup ข้อมูลไปเก็บใน Datastore ของ SCMT ได้ บทความนี้อธิบายขั้นตอนการติดตั้ง Agent สำหรับทั้ง Windows และ Linux

ข้อกำหนดเบื้องต้น (Prerequisites)

• Source VM ทำงานปกติ
• Disk space เพียงพอสำหรับติดตั้ง agent
• Network ระหว่าง Source VM และ SCMT เปิด TCP 20000/20001/20002 (Active) หรือ 3345 (Passive)
• OS ของ Source VM อยู่ใน compatibility list

ขั้นตอนการตั้งค่า (Configuration Steps)

Windows Agent

1. Login SCMT ไปที่ Download คลิก Windows machine (x86 32/64-Bit)
2. เลือก Actively Connected Agent หรือ Passively Connected Agent คลิก Download
3. ดาวน์โหลด zip file แตกไฟล์บน Source VM แล้วดับเบิลคลิก setup
4. คลิก Install รอจนติดตั้งเสร็จ

Linux Agent

1. ไปที่ Download คลิก Linux machine (x86 64-Bit) หรือ Linux client (x86 32-Bit) ตาม OS
2. เลือกประเภท Agent คลิก Download
3. ดาวน์โหลดไฟล์ .sh (หากใช้ HTTPS ต้องใช้ parameter --no-check-certificate กับ wget)
4. ให้สิทธิ์ execute: chmod +x [agent_installation_file]
5. รันคำสั่งติดตั้ง: ./[agent_installation_file] รอจนแสดง install success

การตรวจสอบ (Verification)

ตรวจสอบบน SCMT ว่า Source VM ปรากฏในรายการ Agent-Based Machine และสถานะเชื่อมต่อปกติ

หมายเหตุ (Notes)

• Actively Connected Agent เหมาะเมื่อ Source route ถึง SCMT ได้
• Passively Connected Agent ใช้เมื่อ Source ไม่สามารถติดต่อ SCMT โดยตรง
• Linux Agent ติดตั้งใน /opt/* โดย default
• อย่าลืม parameter --no-check-certificate เมื่อดาวน์โหลดผ่าน HTTPS บน Linux
