วิธีถอนการติดตั้ง Access Client อย่างถูกต้อง

บทนำ

 

บทความนี้อธิบายวิธีการถอนการติดตั้ง Sangfor Access Client (Omnipoint Secure Client) บน Endpoint Windows อย่างถูกต้อง รวมถึงกรณีที่มีการเปิดใช้งาน Logout Protection (Uninstallation Protection) ซึ่งต้องใช้ Password ในการถอนการติดตั้ง

 

ข้อกำหนดเบื้องต้น

 

  • สิทธิ์ Administrator บน Endpoint Windows
  • ทราบ Uninstallation Password (กรณีที่เปิดใช้งาน Logout Protection)
  • หากเปิดใช้งาน Trusted Endpoint Settings ผู้ดูแลอาจต้องลบ Endpoint ออกจาก Trusted List ก่อน

 

 

 

ขั้นตอนการถอนการติดตั้ง

 

  1. ปิด Sangfor Access Client ก่อน Uninstall (ถ้าทำได้)
  2. ไปที่ Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features
  3. ค้นหา Omnipoint Secure Client ในรายการ Application
  4. คลิกขวาที่ Omnipoint Secure Client แล้วเลือก Uninstall
  5. หาก Logout Protection ถูกเปิดใช้งาน ระบบจะแสดง Dialog ขอให้กรอก Uninstallation Password — กรอก Password ที่ผู้ดูแลกำหนดไว้และคลิก OK
  6. ทำตาม Uninstall Wizard จนเสร็จสมบูรณ์
  7. Restart Endpoint เพื่อให้การลบ Component เสร็จสมบูรณ์

 

 

 

 

Programs and Features uninstall Sangfor Access Client

 

การตั้งค่า Uninstallation Protection (สำหรับผู้ดูแล)

 

หากต้องการเปิดใช้งานหรือเปลี่ยน Password สำหรับการ Uninstall ผู้ดูแลสามารถตั้งค่าได้ที่:

  1. Login เข้า Sangfor Access Secure Console
  2. ไปที่ Platform Management > Endpoints > Client Settings > Self-Protection
  3. เปิดใช้งาน Uninstallation Protection แล้วกำหนด:
    • Global Password — รหัสผ่าน 8-16 ตัวอักษร (ผสม Letter, Digit และ Special Character)
    • Applicable Scope — เลือก User ที่อยู่ภายใต้ Policy นี้
    • Message — กำหนดข้อความที่จะแสดงเมื่อ User พยายาม Uninstall
  4. คลิก Save

การตรวจสอบ

 

หลัง Uninstall เสร็จและ Restart Endpoint แล้ว ตรวจสอบว่า Omnipoint Secure Client หายจากรายการ Programs and Features และไม่มี Process ของ Client ทำงานอยู่ใน Task Manager นอกจากนี้ใน Console ที่ Dashboard > User Status สถานะของ Endpoint จะเปลี่ยนเป็น Offline หลังจากระยะเวลาหนึ่ง

หมายเหตุ

 

  • การตั้ง Global Password จะใช้กับ Endpoint ทั้งหมดภายใต้ Self-Protection Settings การเปลี่ยน Password จะมีผลตั้งแต่ครั้งถัด Login
  • หากลืม Uninstallation Password ผู้ใช้ต้องติดต่อผู้ดูแลระบบที่ระบุไว้ใน Logout Message
  • การลบ Endpoint ออกจาก Trusted List ใน Console จะ Block ไม่ให้ Endpoint ดังกล่าว Login อีก
  • การ Uninstall Client จะลบเฉพาะ Component บน Endpoint ไม่ได้ลบ User Account หรือ Configuration บน Console
